Bill Flores Outraises Chet Edwards in Campaign's 2nd Quarter
July 15th 2010BRYAN, TX – The Republican nominee for Texas’ 17th Congressional District, retired businessman Bill Flores, today announced that the campaign reported over $613,000 in contributions in the second quarter of the year. This fundraising haul is more than 20-year incumbent Rep. Chet Edwards (D-TX) raised and is even more impressive since the Republican primary runoff did not occur until April 13 and Edwards did not have a primary.
